L-3 Awnings, Canopies, Carport and Patio Covers

Description:

Installation and repair of window awnings, door hoods, free-standing or attached canopies, carport and patio covers constructed of metal, fabric, fiberglass and plastic.

Installation or repair of screened and paneled enclosures, not intended for use as habitable spaces, using metal panels, plastic inserts and screen doors. A minimum of 60% of wall area of an enclosure shall be constructed of screening material.

Installation or repair of fascia panels, flashing and skirting.

Installation or repair of exterior detached metal storage units. The placing of concrete footings and concrete slabs is permitted only when intended for patio covers, screened-in porches and metal storage units when included in the same contract.

Excluded is any structural member that weighs more than 6 pounds per lineal foot.

All electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning systems are excluded.

Experience Requirements:

This license requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors may also ask that you submit a minimum of 25 projects covering the scope of the license. Specific forms are required to be submitted with the license application to verify the contractors work history.
