Description:

Installation, alteration and repair of insulation materials for the non-mechanical control of heat, sound and moisture for use in the construction of structures and equipment.

Includes installation methods and devices such as supports, fastening systems, adhesives, mastics, plastics and material used for the preparation of insulation work and common to the industry.

Application and installation of materials to protect or finish insulated surfaces.

Experience Requirements:

This license requires a minimum of 2 years of experience. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors may also ask that you submit a minimum of 25 projects covering the scope of the license. Specific forms are required to be submitted with the license application to verify the contractors work history.
